Technical decisions
and specifications

The transformable aircraft uses technologies shared in modern electric motorcycles and in gyroplanes. However, instead of one large pusher propeller, two small ducted propellers with electric motors on the axes of the ducts are used. This technical solution allows the following advantages:

01/
The thrust vector is much lower than practically all existing gyroplanes and passes through the center of mass of the TA, which guarantees very good stability of the aircraft in the air. At the same time, the low center of mass means greater stability of the TA when ride on the ground.
02/
Electromotors create much smaller vibrations than internal combustion engines used in autogyros and most motorcycles.
03/
The placement of power plant allows to significantly reduce the take-off distance. After spinning the rotor, the pilot can start acceleration using common power: of ducted propellers and the rear motor wheel. Thus, the take-off distance can be reduced from tens to a few meters.
04/
A system of two ducted propellers located on the sides of the TA has a greater efficiency compared to a large propeller behind the pilot, due to the ducted propellers are not obscured by the body of the pilot or the body of the aircraft and the using of the airflow is more intense.
05/
The vertical rudders of the transformable aircraft are not overshadowed either, and located at a sufficient distance from the center of mass, this means that the device is more maneuverable than conventional gyroplanes.
06/
The TA has no harmful reactive moments when the speed of rotation of the motors in the ducted propellers is increased or decreased, due to the ducted propellers rotate in opposite directions. This means that the device will have greater lateral stability than a conventional gyroplane.
07/
Ducted propellers are safer than a conventional propeller of gyroplane, and they can not injure a person who happened to be nearby.
08/
For the convenience of controlling the TA, it was decided to abandon the pedals for tail control and the rotor control knobs normally used in autogyros. Prior to take-off the helm of the motorcycle will be put into flight mode by one fuse movement, thus, it will be possible to tilt the helm of the motorcycle. Turning the helm of the motorcycle will cause not only the turns of the front wheel, but also the turns of the tail empennage. The inclination of the helm will cause changes in the rotor rotation planes. Thus, the control system of the TA will be intuitively clear even to a person who did not have experience in controlling of aircraft.
